A crowd of Canadian – Greek citizens of all ages, yesterday, watched the parade of the diaspora community in Montreal, marking the anniversary of the 25th of March national holiday.

Kostis Papagiorgis, was a respected scholar who wrote essays, novels, translated many philosophical books and published literary magazines. He died Friday at 67.

Pharmacists Union president Kyriakos Theodosiades announced that the strike is a response to the upcoming bill which introduce non prescription drugs to “supermarkets and toy stores”.
