Serena Williams wins her 5th US Open singles title and her 17th Grand Slam singles title in a rematch of last year's women's final, defeating Victoria Azarenka, 7-5, 6-7 (6), 6-1.
The last rematch in the women's final at the Open was in 2002 when Williams defeated her sister Venus Williams.
