Varvitsiotis pledges to facilitate Greek shipping during handover ceremony
The new Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy Miltiadis Varvitsiotis presented his priorities for the next period at noon, during the ceremony of handing over the Ministry of Shipping from the acting minister Th. Kliaris. The event was attended by all the representatives of the Greek shipping agencies.
Rev. Dr. John Chryssavgis to Head Huffington Ecumenical Institute at HCHCΗ
Rev. Dr. John Chryssavgis, Archdeacon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, has been appointed the first Executive Director of the Huffington Ecumenical Institute at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, effective September 1. He will also rejoin the Holy Cross faculty, of which he was a member from 1995-2002, as Professor of Theology.

Re-elected Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ Cabinet was announced on Monday afternoon, a day after the latter’s center-right New Democracy (ND) party won a landslide election – equaling its showing from a month ago, in a first May 21 ballot – and opened the way for the establishment of a majority government.
