SKY express: Cooperation with Delta Air Lines

Featured SKY express: Cooperation with Delta Air Lines

SKY express' cooperation with Delta Air Lines creates new interconnection opportunities for the country.

The two companies join forces, in order to offer international visitors easy access to the largest network of destinations covered by SKY express throughout Greece.

From May 19, Delta customers flying from North America with one of the company's daily direct flights to Athens will then be able to continue their journey to SKY express destinations of their choice throughout Greece.

SKY express, through strategic agreements with global airlines such as Air France, KLM, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Condor, El Al, Middle East Airlines, as well as Transavia and Emirates, aims to actively contribute to the further promotion of the Greek tourism product.

As Perry Cantarutti, Delta's senior vice president for Alliances, points out, "Greece is one of the most sought after destinations for American travelers this summer and with trade and tourism flows increasing between our countries, Delta's cooperation with SKY express offers our customers more flexibility in planning the perfect Greek getaway."

For his part, Giannis Lidakis, Commercial Director of SKY express, stressed: "The agreement with Delta comes as a result of systematic work and discussions and makes us very happy. It is based on the combination of the newest and greenest fleet with the unrivaled network that will allow visitors from the USA to enjoy the magical charm of our country."
