Yesterday, the Turkish Kibris newspaper reported its Turkish-Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu's stance on the European Court of Human Right's mandate, that instructs Turkey to pay the Repulic of Cyprus 90,000,000 euros, as "political".
A tripartite agreement on environmental issues, focusing on offshore research and hydrocarbon extraction and on oil pollution was agreed on Tuesday by environment ministers from Greece, Cyprus, and Israel. The formal signing of the agreement is expected by June.
