With its new decision, the US House of Representatives "passed" one of the two amendments to ban the upgrade of the F-16s or the sale of new fighters to Turkey.
US lawmakers are trying to block the supply of F-16s to Turkey, through a bipartisan amendment filed in the House of Representatives.
Greece stands firmly against the upgrade of F-16s for the Turkish Air Force by the United States, Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias told Parliament on Thursday, and this stance "will be expressed in Washington during Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' official visit" on May 16.
