The importance of Greek-American cooperation in the light of energy security in the Eastern Mediterranean was at the center of the meeting between Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou and the US Secretary of the Interior and head of the US National Energy Sovereignty Council Doug Bergham in Washington.

Hydrocarbon exploration in Greece and energy security in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region were discussed, among other things, during the meeting of Environment and Energy Minister, Stavros Papastavrou, with the member of the US House of Representatives and Vice Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee, Randy Weber.
