An extraordinary artistic project inspired by Greek mythology is taking shape in the United States. French sculpture workshop Atelier Missor is working on a monumental titanium Prometheus, planned to stand approximately 20 metres tall, with the creators intending it for SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas. The choice of Prometheus carries powerful symbolism. In Greek mythology, the Titan stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity, becoming one of the ancient world’s most enduring symbols of knowledge, technological advancement, human ingenuity and the daring pursuit of progress.
