Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his shock over the attack at an adult education school in Örebro, Sweden on Tuesday.

In a post in English, Mitsotakis said, "Shocked by the tragedy in Örebro. Schools should be places of learning and safety, never violence. Greece stands in solidarity with Sweden in this painful moment. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the community affected by this heinous act."

The Foreign Ministry, in a post on X, expressed its condolences to the victims and their families.

"Shocked and appalled by today’s attack at a school in Örebro," the ministry wrote.

"Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones. We stand with the people of Sweden in this difficult moment.”

The attack left 10 dead, one of whom the police believe may possibly be the perpetrator.
