Νέο ναυάγιο με πρόσφυγες σημειώθηκε στη Μυτιλήνη. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, υπάρχουν οχτώ αγνοούμενοι.
Το δυστύχημα συνέβη όταν ξύλινο σκάφος που μετέφερε 39 ανθρώπους, προσέκρουσε σε σκάφος του Λιμενικού, μισό μίλι ανοιχτά του Μολύβου. Ήδη, έχουν διασωθεί 31 πρόσφυγες. Στην περιοχή, επιχειρούν δυο σκάφη του Λιμενικού Σώματος και ένα σκάφος της FRONTEX, ενώ και άλλες δυνάμεις σπεύδουν την περιοχή για τη διάσωση των αναφερόμενων ναυαγών.
