The American Community Schools (ACS) of Athens marked its historic 80th Anniversary with a spectacular Gala, celebrating eight decades of academic excellence, leadership, and global impact. The event, held in Athens, brought together distinguished alumni, esteemed guests, and supporters to honor the school's legacy.

On February 18-19, 2020, American Community Schools- ACS Athenshosted the 3rd Annual Innovation Summit in the Learning Commons, managed by the school’s Incubator of Student's Creative Ideas (ISCI).

ACS Athens (American Community Schools) will honor alumna Stephanie E. Joannides, Senior Superior Court Judge, Anchorage Alaska, class of ‘71, with this year’s “Lifetime Achievement Award,” acknowledging her professional achievements, exemplary leadership with ethos, and service to humanity, according to ACS Athens press release.
