One of ruling SYRIZA’s more outspoken far-left cadres, the London-based academic and economist Costas Lapavitsas, on Monday landed in the Guardian’s inner pages with his cure for Greece’s economic ills – an exit from the euro!

Greece and Cyprus could play the “bridge role” between the EU and a country such as Russia, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias told Russian foreign-language news agency Sputnik in an interview.
