Όπως αναφέρει τηλεγράφημα του Αθηναϊκού Πρακτορείου, το οποίο επικαλείται πληροφορίες που μεταδίδει η RAI, η λίστα επιβατών του πλοίου φέρεται να είναι ανακριβής έως και πλαστή, κάτι που αν επιβεβαιωθεί θα σημάνει πρωτοφανές αλαλούμ για τον αριθμό διασωθέντων και αγνοουμένων.

Απαραίτητες είναι οι αντιολισθητικές αλυσίδες σε περιοχές της Αττικής τις τελευταίες ώρες λόγω της έντονης χιονόπτωσης.
