IMF: Talks will resume after elections

International Monetary Fund (IMF) spokesman Gerry Rice on Monday said that talks with Greek authorities for the completion of the six review of the bailout programme will resume after the country holds general elections next month.
"Discussions with the Greek authorities on the completion of the sixth review of the programme that is being supported by an Extended Arrangement will resume once a new government is in place, in consultation with the European Commission and the European Central Bank," an e-mailed statement said.
"Greece faces no immediate financing needs," the announcement added.
