Russia has expressed its interest in collaborating with Cyprus militarily, as Ambassador in Nicosia Stanislav Osadchiy, has confirmed.

Havadis Newspaper, a Turkish-Cypriot daily publication, reported that the Barbaros seismic vessel's activities of illegally exploring in the Republic of Cyprus' Exclusive Economic Zone, is a sign that the North does in fact want to collaborate with the South.

Cyprus received an additional amount of tourist arrivals last month, compared to December of 2013, by 3.7%, as confirmed by the Cyprus Statistical Service.
