Pompeo to visit Cyprus on 6 January
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Cyprus on January 6th.
Cyprus will be the last stop of Mr Pompeo's Asian tour, in a move of high political symbolism. The US Secretary of State will return to Washington the next day to attend the State Department's 8th reception in honor of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Cyprus FM Christodoulides satisfied with results of meeting with US Secretary of State
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides has expressed his satisfaction over the results of a meeting in Washington with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, noting that there was a clear commitment on both sides to strengthen cooperation in various sectors and that the US support towards resuming talks for a Cyprus settlement was important.
