Nikolaos Frangos and Kadio Sigala in the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame

Yesterday's induction ceremony into the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame, which took place at the Athens Concert Hall, had a clear historical depth, as it coincided with the 80th anniversary of the pivotal year 1946, the year in which the sale of American Liberty ships to Greek shipowners began, marking the rebirth of Greek-owned shipping. This juncture gave the event an anniversary character. Not only individuals were honored. An entire historical transition was honored. From the destroyed Greek-owned merchant shipping of 1945, to its explosive rise in the following decades, which led it to the top of the world. Within this context, the inclusion of two personalities in the Pantheon of Greek Shipping, Nikolaos Frangos and Kadio Sigala, functions not only as recognition of their individual journeys in the shipping business but as a representative reflection of an entire era.

Emily in Paris in Mykonos: When will filming start and in where

The popular Netflix series Emily in Paris is being transferred to the island of the winds. Lily Collins, known as Emily Cooper, along with her company will travel to Mykonos.

The crew with the actors will be in Mykonos for the filming of the 6th season, which will probably begin in mid-May.

The special charm of the island, the white houses with blue windows, the narrow alleys leading to Little Venice and the windmills that dominate the country, as well as the beaches with golden sand and turquoise waters immediately "won over" the people of the production.

Possible locations

According to information from several sources, the production has received approval from the competent authorities of Mykonos and is now examining the locations where the filming will take place.

There are quite a few scenarios, as according to the same information, Scorpios Mykonos, located on Paraga beach in a secluded bay that hundreds of thousands of people visit to enjoy the endless view of the Aegean Sea and one of the most beautiful sunsets, has been "put on the table", as well as Jackie'O, respectively one of the most famous beach bars on the island known for its magical location that takes you on a journey, which is on the hill of Super Paradise beach.

At the same time, it is rumored that a villa has already been booked where part of the filming will take place, after several on-site inspections by production personnel at various hotels and villas.

The filming is expected to last at least two weeks, while it is not excluded that Greek actors will participate.

At the moment, there is no official confirmation from the production people as the project is characterized by absolute secrecy due to its international scale.

What is certain, however, is that another island in our country, Mykonos, has attracted attention and will be shown worldwide in a series that in the first few days of the previous season already had over 13 million views.
