Major life events such as births, marriages and deaths of Greeks living abroad can now be e-entered by consulates directly onto Greece's "Citizens Database", cutting through red-tape processes that up to now took months to complete, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Digital Governance announced on Thursday.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Digital Governance are further expanding the MyConsulLive service by adding 18 additional Foreign Authorities (Embassies and Consulates) ιν 17 countries.
