Main opposition party SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras on Thursday evening launched a fierce critique against the government's development draft bill during its discussion in parliament, which "serves corporate interests," and is also characterized, he said, by an extremely neoliberal philosophy that runs against both labor rights and most people's interests. 

The development draft law that was tabled in Parliament late on Wednesday aims at the rapid and decisive improvement of the business environment, especially in critical areas for productive investment.

The government will focus on supporting full-time employment and bringing more investments and jobs to Greece through the new development bill, government spokesman Stelios Petsas said in an interview on Ant1 on Tuesday night.
