Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias met with the leadership of the Greece-France Interparliamentary Friendship Group of the French Senate, made up of the group's Chairman Didier Marie and deputy chairmen Francoise Dumont and Laurence Harribey, according to an announcement on Tuesday. 

The upgraded Greek-French bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments, dominated a meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian at the Maximos Mansion on Friday.

Greece is shielded from external threats, strengthens its international presence and returns dynamically to the forefront of European Unification, stressed Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias in an article in the newspaper "Ta Nea", analyzing the advantages of the agreement signed with France.
