Significant progress towards the conclusion of the second programme review, the short-term measures on debt and the possible IMF participation to the Greek programme are expected at today's Eurogroup, European Commissioner for Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said the decision on whether to participate in Greece’s adjustment program might be taken in December, its spokesman Gerry Rice said during a regular press conference in Washington on Thursday.

The Eurogroup meeting asked Greece to accelerate reforms regarding the new pension plan and to give more details ahead of the arrival of lenders in Athens next week.
