The European Court rejected Greece’s appeal on Thursday to set a lower excise tax for tsipouro and tsikoudia, two of the most traditional and popular Greek alcoholic beverages.

A message that ND will reduce the tax burden on citizens and businesses has been sent by ND President Kyriakos Mitsotakis from Paros.

The main aim of the third programme was not achieved with SYRIZA's responsibility, said New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a press conference on Sunday in Thessaloniki adding that "My commitment is the gradual de-escalation of the borrowing cost".
