Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias reiterated Greece's committment to "the universality, indivisibility and interdependence of all human rights", speaking after the end of the high-level segment of the 43rd Session of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva on Tuesday.

The view of migrants in the eastern Aegean islands that carry the bulk of the burden of migrant flows is extremely negative. 

The government is determined to proceed with its decision for the construction of closed type hosting facilities for refugees and migrants and this is to the benefit of the islands inhabitants, Alternate Migration Minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos said on Wednesday in an interview with radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.
