Tough times for Pierre Moskovisi as he lost his mother. The French commissioner will remain in Paris to attend the funeral and has canceled his scheduled visits. Today he was expected to travel to Athens to meet with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

European Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Pierre Moscovici reported on Monday significant progress in the negotiations between Greece and its EU partners, adding however that time is running out.

The ongoing discussions on the problems of the Greek economy for the last three months and the entailing uncertainty have negative repercussions to growth and public deficit, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Pierre Moscovici said during the presentation of European Commission's spring economic outlook.
