The uninhabited Polynesia of the Aegean

Polyaigos, also called "Polynesia of the Cyclades", is the largest uninhabited island in the Aegean and is considered the best-preserved island in the Mediterranean. It is part of the Natura 2000 program, designated as a Special Protection Zone, as it hosts a large number of rare endangered species of flora and fauna.

A little-known islet between Amorgos and Leros islands in the Aegean that is nevertheless protected under the Natura 2000 network, and its single permanent resident, have been "adopted" by the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (EENE), according to a report by ANT1 television on Thursday.
