There may be room for collaborating with Turkey on managing the migration issue, National Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos told ERA radio on Thurday, "but not under the current situation, with rising inflows and a relative indifference by Turkey," especially the Turkish Coast Guard.

Defence Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos on Thursday praised the steadfast contribution of the Armed Forces to the country, noting that they guaranteed its peace and freedom, as well as contributing to Greek citizens through the social work performed by the military, in a message for Armed Forces Day.

"Something appears to be happening" in the international community in response to Turkey's invasion of Syria and its illegal actions in Cyprus' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos said in an interview with REAL FM radio on Tuesday.
