The annual parade of the Hellenic Armed Forces for Greek Independence Day (March 25) concluded on Monday after passing before President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and political and military officials standing before the Monument of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square.

With an impressive parade and with the best – so far – television coverage, the grand military parade of Athens for the National anniversary of March 25, 1821, was completed a little while ago, in the presence of the President of the Republic Mr. Katerina Sakellaropoulos, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis , the Speaker of the Parliament Kostas Tassoulas, political leaders and representatives of all political parties, but also the Minister of Defense of Cyprus Michalis Giorgallas, who was a guest of the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Panagiotopoulos.

Celebrations for the Greek national OXI Day came to an end with an impressive showing of the Greek Armed forces which marched in downtown Thessaloniki on Monday.
