Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis commented on the 46th anniversary of the 1973 university uprising on his Facebook wall, urging Greeks to leave the “false, divisive slogans behind”.

Around 1000 anarchists clashed with anti-riot police units in Athens and Thessaloniki,  after a march in memory of the teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos who was shot dead by a police officer in 2008.

With a new announcement, the anti-authoritarians squatting in the Polytechnic causing the cancellation of celebrations commemorating the 44th anniversary of the uprising against the junta, stress that the occupation continues.
