Policemen at the Greek police headquarters (GADA) and other state officials were placed in quarantine for 14 days on Thursday, following their contact with an Afghan who developed Covid-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus. 

Two of the four migrants that broke the quarantine imposed on Malakasa refugee and migrant facility after the detection of a coronavirus case were located on Friday.

A retirement home in Nea Makri, east of Athens, was placed in quarantine late on Sunday as a pensioner tested positive for Covid-19.
