Police officers in quarantine after contact with Afghan infected by coronavirus

Policemen at the Greek police headquarters (GADA) and other state officials were placed in quarantine for 14 days on Thursday, following their contact with an Afghan who developed Covid-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus.
The police officers had taken all recommended precautionary measures - such as wearing gloves and masks - but they were placed in quarantine to avoid the potential spread of the disease.
The officers will also be tested for the virus, while the areas at the police headquarters that the Afghan came into contact with have been cleaned and disinfected.
