Water Airports SA on Monday said it postponed the operation of its seaplane network in the Ionian Sea for 2021 in view of the negative consequences caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Anastasios Govas, CEO of the company told ANA.

Parliament's production and trade committee on Thursday voted in favour of an infrastracture and transport ministry bill regulating the founding and operation of water airports for seaplanes.

The infrastructure and transport ministry on Friday unveiled for public consultation, lasting until December 27, a draft law on waterways that aims at the immediate reactivation of seaplane transport in Greece.
