Eight days, ten islands, 160 nautical miles and one message: We love life-We protect the sea. With this slogan Angelos Christofidis, founder and rower of South Evian Gulf team and the volunteer rower Constantinos Diliakos will attempt to cross the Aegean Sea with their kayaks.

The second ministerial meeting, "Visegrad-4 plus Balkan-4 plus", was launched in Sounion on Friday, following the first meeting in Budapest last December to enhance EU co-operation.

A new semi- marathon race, the Poseidon Challenge, will be held for the first time on October 2 at the southest part of Attica, at Sounio Cape. The race will link the Temple of Poseidon with the ancient theatre of Thoricus near Lavrio, the most ancient theatre in Greece.
