Greece, the United States and South Korea have signed a €1.35 billion trilateral agreement to transform the Elefsina shipyards into a naval defense and submarine construction hub for the Eastern Mediterranean, with the deal expected to generate up to 10,000 jobs and contribute 0.8 percent annually to Greece's GDP over the next five to seven years.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressed via teleconference the 3rd Summit for Democracy, held in South Korea. His  speech is as follows:

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with his Korean counterpart Lee Nak-yeon on Monday. The meeting is considered critical following recent economic figures confirming that Greece is exiting the crisis and investments exceeded 2 billion euros in the seven month period.
