Today, the Greek Parliament shot down opposition party's proposals calling for a debate, concerning PPC's partial privatization, according to reports.

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras unleashed a full frontal attack against SYRIZA against its stance onthe issue of PPC, speaking at the Economist conference. Mr Samaras said that "SYRIZA walks hand in hand with Golden Dawn."

Parliament was met with controversy by opposing delegates, regarding a prison reform bill.
