Greece allocates €30m to Thomas Cook-hit businesses

Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis announced this week that 30 million euros would be allocated to tourism enterprises impacted by the collapse in September of Thomas Cook UK to cover employer contributions.

Fosun is expected to acquire the Thomas Cook brand and the Casa Cook and Cook’s Club hotels, according to information from Shanghai, where the Chinese giant has its headquarters.
