"We all recognise the national challenge of the migration issue that Greece is facing" said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in an intervention on Sunday on the care of the unaccompanied children that are in Greece with the programme "No Child Alone".

The plight of unaccompanied refugee and migrant children arriving in Europe was highlighted by Greece's Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis on Wednesday, speaking before the European Parliament's Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee.

Shockινγ revelations were made by former Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias that he sent to the prosecutor cases of Greek diplomats who allegedly were involved in an illegal visa-issuing circuit for unaccompanied children.
