The Greek-American Chamber of Commerce welcomed on Thursday the American directive maintaining exemptions in some Greek farm products from tariffs imposed on imports from the EU.

Import sanctions by the U.S. on European products that include cheeses, yogurt, wines, olives, oranges, and lemons are scheduled to take effect on Friday.
