The fire continues to burn in Parnitha, with the picture being clearly better, while in Evros the fire is ongoing for the 7th day. A battle to extinguish the fire is also being fought in Boeotia.

The capital, as well as many other regions of the country, have turned into a gas "chamber", since the black smoke from the devastating fires travels huge distances.
