The company's editorial mission is to offer knowledge, analysis and information for business decision makers, in the international shipping trade.

The "One Hundred Most Influential People in the Shipping Industry" list encompasses the industry's "creme de la creme", as stated on the company's website.

It ranks them from one to one-hundred, in importance regarding their sector influence. Lloyd's commented, "We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed compiling it". An abundance of Greeks made the cut.
