The President of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, contacted Civil Protection General Secretary Yannis Kapakis, briefly to get information on the firy fronts that are in full swing,around the country.

Populism is an effective tool when a party is in the opposition but an ineffective one when a party is in power, New Democracy (ND)leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday during a lecture titled “The future of Democracy” at Harvard. 

Greek Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis cautioned that municipalities that don't submit information regarding civil servants' evaluations, will be subjected to the Supreme Court prosecutor.
