Greek-British actor Theo James is set to join the cast of The Secret Scripture.
The movie is set to be released next year, and is based on Sebastian Barry's 2008 novel, which chronicles a women's experience during her time at a mental hospital. The film also stars Rooney Mara, Vanessa Redgrave, and Jeremy Irons, while Eric Bana and Jack Reynor have just come aboard as well, according to Variety.
Theo James whose original name is Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis, was born in Oxford and is Greek, English and Scottish. He is best know for his roles in Bedlam, Golden Boy and Divergent.
The Secret Scripture's plot revolves around the role of Roseanne McNulty, who has spent most of her life residing in Irish mental institutions. James plays the role of a Catholic priest. Filming is scheduled to start this fall.
