  • Written by

The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle has partnered up with the Greek-American Historical Museum of Washington State (Greeks in Washington), for a newly launched exhibit.

The exhibition is titled, "A Place at the Table: Over 100 Years of Greek Restaurants, Culture and the Entrepreneurial Spirit." It showcases the historical context of more than 200 restaurants in Seattle and 100 restaurants spanning the state, that are owned by Greeks.

For the last two years, "Greeks in Washington" have collected on-air interviews with restaurant proprietors, and have gathered photos and mementos for the exhibition. "A Place at the Table: Over 100 Years of Greek Restaurants, Culture and the Entrepreneurial Spirit" is being held now until May 31st.
