This new, major film production, the script of which is signed by the director himself and does not yet have an official title, is a drama that takes place inside prisons. The historic prison facilities of Corfu, with the impressive architectural design of the English philosopher and lawyer Jeremy Bentham, which includes ten radially arranged buildings and in the middle the circular administration office, was the ideal setting for the development of the action of the film, which is expected to be captivating.

It is worth noting that the film composer and close collaborator of Damien Chazelle, Justin Hurwitz, who has undertaken to write the film's music, has meaningfully stated that "it is the best script he has ever read".

A multi-star cast

The new cinematic hit by Damien Chazelle, who enchanted audiences worldwide in 2016 with the musical romantic drama "La La Land", starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, which won a total of six Oscars, has attracted the interest of the global film community mainly due to its extremely dynamic cast and the coexistence of three very big names.

Cillian Murphy proved with his amazing performance in "Oppenheimer", in the role of the father of the atomic bomb that won him the coveted Oscar, that he is, undoubtedly, an actor of high standards.

Daniel Craig, on the other hand, has been identified for years with one of the most popular film heroes of all time, the legendary James Bond, since he was the sixth actor in a row to play the famous agent 007.

One of the leading actresses of the younger generation, Michelle Williams revealed her rich acting skills very early on. It is no coincidence that at the age of 45 she has already won three Golden Globes and five Oscar nominations for her performances in films such as “Blue Valentine”, “My Week with Marilyn”, “Brokeback Mountain” etc.

The coexistence of these three exceptional actors, under the guidance of a director who has proven in the past that he can create exceptional films, combined with the Greek landscapes where the filming will take place, are the ingredients that make this film, which will be released by Paramount Pictures with the participation of the Greek production company Heretic, highly anticipated internationally.
