PhotoBiennale Exhibit Opens Friday, Thessaloniki
The PhotoBiennale exhibit opens on May 9th at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, that includes 100 international artists from 23 nations.
The theme of this year's event has three thematic pillars: Time (portrayed in 2008), Place (2010-2011) and Logos. The exhibition will offer screenings, concerts, seminars, master classes and various activities in twenty different venues in the city's port region.
As stated by ANA, Thessaloniki Museum of Photography Director Vangelis Ioakimidis described the upcoming exhibit's goal: "Our aim is to show the public works and give creators the opportunity to meet each other".
The Thessaloniki Museum of Photography is the only state-funded museum in the nation devoted only to photography. It was established in 1997 and has held international exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
