Coast Guard rescues 145 immigrants

At least 145 illegal immigrants were rescued Monday morning in several different places in the Eastern Aegean sea.
The Hellenic Coast Guard has rescued 52 immigrants in two different incidents in the sea north of Samos island, 46 east of Chios island, 43 in the sea area east of Agathonissi island and 4 in the sea area of Akra Korakas Mithimnas on Lesvos.
All were transferred safely to detention camps.
