- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The first design of the axonometric projection of the funerary monument by Ministry of Culture architect M. Lefantzis, has been completed showing the two intermediate walls the first of which bears the Sphinxes, and the second the Caryatids. Maintenance and stabilization works continue.
The work of documenting the archaeological excavations is also continuing, through digital and conventional means.
The 28th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities is continuing excavations on Kasta hill. The removal of the sandy sand dredging continues horizontally across the surface of the site, between the septal wall with the caryatids and the third wall, in order to achieve a balance of pressures and ensure constant static stability of the structure, according to the decisions of interdisciplinary technical team.
