Tax returns delayed
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Νew adventure lie ahead for many taxpayers who are to receive tax returns.
Although most employees should have received their tax return slips by August, the electronic system is experiencing delays in cross-checking if they have dues in pension and insurance funds. According to the original plan, taxpayers with a credit slip should have already received in their accounts the tax refund they are entitled to.
However, after the problems in the operation of the software application system, it is extremely doubtful whether the system will be able to process any more tax returns before November or December. So tax returns may even delay until Christmas!
