Upgraded Greek Participation at Anuga 2013
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
More than 200 Greek firms participated in this year's Anuga 2013 food and beverage fair, most under the aegis of the Greek export promotion organization (HEPO).
This year's event highlighted the qualitative upgrading of Greek participation.
The largest part of Greek exhibitors were from the general foods sector, like olive oil, olives, and canned goods. There was also a significant presence from the dairy, baked products, spirits, and frozen foods sectors.
A taste stand was featured at the HEPO stand where Greek exhibitors could entertain prospective customers offering them samples of their wares cooked live by top Greek chefs.
Live cooking was also featured in the frozen seafood section where a chef cooked the wares while explaining what he did.
