Arab-Hellenic center for Culture & Civilization vandalized

According to a Facebook post by the Muslim Association of Greece, racist vandals have defaced the Arab-Hellenic center for Culture & Civilization in the Athens neighborhood of Moschato.

Photographs uploaded by the group depict a red cross and blue paint smeared on the walls while a pig’s severed head was also placed outside of the center.

Graffiti sprayed on the floor in front of the center reads ‘F*** Islam’.

The despicable attack comes just a day after the prosecutor responsible for the case against the neo-fascist Golden Dawn submitted a 700 page report to the court of appeals recommending that all of the party’s MPs and many other high ranking officials be charged with belonging to a criminal organization.

The timing is therefore suspect, although there is no immediate evidence linking Golden Dawn or its supporters to the attack.
