- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Parliament, almost unanimously, has decided to lift the immunity of six Golden dawn deputies: Efstathios Boukouras, Giorgos Germenis, Panayotis iliopoulos, Ilias Panayotaros, Ilias Kasidiaris, and Hrysovalantis Alexopoulos.
Among 247 deputies present, there was one vote was blank, one was invalid, and one deputy voted just present.
Of the deputies under vote, Ilias Kasidiaris maintained that it was a fabricated charge and stated that his party would not take part in the vote in order to avoid lending legitimacy to violating the constitution. Ilias Panayotaros spoke of a "show."
